So I bought an Ibanez S series body from a friend who had broken the neck.. I bought a neck off of eBay and it just came in. It doesn't fit. He didn't tell me that it originally had a Wizard I neck on it. I bought a Wizard II. It's only a few millimeters and it's just a wimpy body that I'm going to strip and paint anyways, so, I figure I'll just widen the neck joint pocket.
So, my question is which is the best way to tackle this project? A Drimmel with a sand paper attachment or a router?
I'd prefer to just use a Drimmel since I no longer have a router, but, if it makes a world of difference, it wouldn't be any problem to go and buy a new one.
Awesome!

I just sanded the neck. Thank you! It worked and was so much easier.
