Hey guys,

Two Problems with my H&k

One: I'm picking up radio signal, I know that happens with amps, but what can I do to help prevent it?

Two: Eqing the Ultra channel. It's been a nightmare. I can't get it chunky with a nice low end without it totally crapping out and getting extremely muddy, and it get worse the higher the volume. And when i set the presence and treble higher, it just gets fizzy! I have these settings

presence: 10 oclock
treble: 1 oclock
mid: 11 oclock
low: 2 oclock
Gain: 3oclock
BBE Lo contour: at 0
BBE Processe: 2:30 oclock

The amp's ultra channel is almost identical to the H&K Tri-amp mkII. I like a low, wrm chunky sound. Kinda like KSE or Stone Sour.

Thanks

Throw out the BBE, at least until you have the amp dialed in right. Mess more with the Mids to add chunk rather than the bass. I pick up the radio all the time, usually some spanish station I never heard of
