So, 2 years ago my dad gave me a Peavy Impact 1. beautiful thing. Sadly though, two years, the idea of heavy gauge strings on old plastic Kahler tremolo system's string holder's also, seemed like a good idea.

Yea, it snapped off the plastic on two holdy things on each side of a string. Impossible to put two strings on now. I was naive but yeah. Now i actually want to play it but no idea how much it will cost to fix.

-___- help. I wanna slap myself. damn 16 year old self.

If you really like the guitar, youd probably be best off investing in a new term altogether.

I don't know what company makes good Kahlers or how much they cost, unfortunately.
