Hey guys, title sort of speaks for itself, there are certain CDs that when I put them into my iTunes, the sound quality is unlistenable. All crackly and weird, but in normal CD players they work fine.

Does anyone know how to fix this, or at least why this happens?

Cheers

iTunes

Well, there's your problem!
There's a good chance that what I've written above is useless and if you take any of the advice it's your own fault.

That's because iTunes automatically rips music from CD's to low quality. They are ripped at 128 kbit/s iirc

Yeah but it is so terrible that you can't listen to it, I mean it's only on certain CDs but its really crackly, you can barely make out what song is on. Plus it's always the same CDs which is strange
