Could a Clean Boost pedal really make an improvement on this amp? I don't want to just buy one to experiment. Has anybody tried or currently does this? Which Clean Pedal would you recommend?

6505. Not sure about a clean boost, but it def. benefits from an OD.

I use a Ibanez TS9 as a boost basically 90% of the time. With my neck pickup and minimal pre gain on the clean channel it sounds pretty good IMO. Then I usually add a splash of reverb with a Holy Grail, and Delay with my Carbon Copy. I love the clean tone I get!
