I think i just hit a revolutionary achievement or im not right at all.

The intro to heard the world. THe chords are G,am, dm,G,dm,g

Just going that far. I hear the pitches as follows.

G - open 3 string
Am - 3rd string 2 fret
dm ? may be 12 fret 4rd string
G 5fret 4string
Dm ? may be 12 3rd
G 5 fret 4 string

NOw they olny thing that puzzles me is the Dm

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2hgCf7oL5E this is the video.

http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/o/oar/heard_the_world_crd.htm this is the tab to follow along

Now if u play them singing notes i typed it goes along with it and i can sing them notes. But the pesky dm puzzles me. Am i in the right direction as to matching pitch?

Looks like a G progression but the dm doesn't fit as the 5th

so im lost

Its in C...

D major is the V in G but not in C.

V = G
vi = am
ii = dm

Also look at the chorus... there's C's and F's in there. There would definitely be no F if you were in G.

Ty sowhere would the dm fit in that pitch? 12 fret 4 string or u thibks its to high? Or would it be d f a. Just keep the pitch on 3 rd string 2 fret for both am and dm? Meaning do a over am and dm.
