I got a Zoom H1 recently and finally got to try it out in a concert setting. I went to a small art gallery called Solar Culture in Tucson, this guy Tatsuya Nakatani was playing. I asked him before the show if he minded me taping him and he said sure as long as I send him a copy. He plays gongs with a cello bow, it sounds like a symphony of guitars feeding back. Crazy stuff. Anyway, it was a lot of fun, and I met a guy who was also there taping the show with a Zoom H4n. Anyone else have show taping stories?

Which way I fly is Hell; myself am Hell;
And, in the lowest deep, a lower deep
Still threatening to devour me opens wide,
To which the Hell I suffer seems a Heaven.

No, I recorded it digitally in 44khz/16bit. I suppose I've been misleading using the word "taped", I just figured people would assume I wasn't lugging a reel-to-reel around.
