Wondering if anyone has played one of these. I know B.C. Rich doesn't have the greatest rep but figured since it is one of their more expensive models it should be a pretty solid guitar.

i cant seem to find one locally or in any stores near me.

If anyone has played one lemme know what you think. I'm going to buy a new guitar over the summer once i get some money saved up and build a new computer. the only other guitar that catches my eye is Jackson SLS3. Which is quite expensive.

if anyone has any other suggestions my requirements are:

super strat body
24 frets
fixed bridge (preferably tune-o-matic)
passive humbuckers
scale: 25.5
Ibanez RG1550 Prestige
Schecter C1 Hellraiser
MIJ Ibanez Pro-line 1550
Takamine eg340c
Peavey 6505+ 112 combo
Ibanez Tubescreamer TS- 9
ISP Decimator
MXR M234 Analog Chorus
DeltaLab Digital Delay
Planet Waves Tuner Pedal
POD HD300

I don't get why they have bad reps, I owe two and have played countless others and I think they are great guitars. As for the Assassin I've been wanting to get one and have played it. Rockfields are great pickups and the finish is awesome in my opinion.

A guy I play with often has a BC Rich Gunslinger. Plays great and sounds great. I don't know where the bad rep comes from but they are good guitars.

the neck is pretty standard for BC Riches, not too fat but not super thin
