I"m fairly certain you can record with AmpKit, but you have to buy the adapter to hook your guitar to your iPod, and it's around 30-40 dollars. I'm pretty sure AmpKit is compatible with touches, but I'm not certain. So you'll want to make sure.

Linky.
You can call me Aaron.

There is a great app called ( studio mini ) if you have an older I Touch without a mic you will need to use an external mic or a set of headphones with a microphone. This is a great app it has four tracks and a metromome and numerous different drum tracks.

FourTrack works with the built-in mic and headphones, an iPhone headset mic, or an iPod touch with a third-party mic and headphones. Everything is recorded at true 16-bit, 44.1 kHz quality. How to plug a guitar and mic into an iPhone.
