Hey ya'll, here's my question...

I've got the little device shown here:

http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Tascam-DP008-8Track-Digital-Portastudio-?sku=583091

It's nice, but I was wondering if there was a way to convert it and use it as a DAW connected to my computer and manipulate the tracks from a program like Protools or something to edit the sound a bit better. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
BlackNapkin

Why not chromatics? Chromatic harmony was the "new thing" in the romantic era.

With just that, no

You can hook it up to a 2 channel interface. Basically, run the left and right channel into each of the inputs and record from there. Not really worth it in my opinion

I think that you would have to record your initial tracks into the Tascam and then you would export each individual track into your DAW for mixing and editing.

Hmmm, I was afraid that it'd be harder than I imagined. Thanks for your guys' help. I think I'll toy around with exporting the tracks like you said KillRoy...
