Hello GB&C,

I have a small BC Rich Practice amp (Think the label says 15watt) and was thinking of modding it.

I only have basic soldering know how and thats about it for my electronics knowledge

So what are some easy mods I could do?

Heres a pic of the amp (only pic i could find);

Down they come
The swarm of locusts
Skies above
Converge to choke us
Feast of souls
Consume the harvest
Young and old
Suffer unto the locust

that's solid state, so the mods are gonna be a bit harder then say..changing a few values on a valve amp.

i'm sure there's maybe some things you could do though.

you'd have to be pretty proficient in pcb soldering/rework.

those parts can get pretty small.

does it have a "line out" or "headphone" jack? You could run it through a PA system or a speaker system or even a set of decent speakers and get better tone

Or you could always change the speaker itself, even though on an amp like that it might not be worth it
