I was planning to install a vibramate bigsby b7 on my les paul and i was wondering if i needed to have a roller bridge or just use the original tune o-matic bridge that is already on there? I heard that some people get roller bridges and some don't. I was wondering if anyone could help me! Thanks!

You don't need a roller bridge. But you won't break as many strings if you get one. And you will get better tuning stability with a roller also.

The downside to a roller bridge is that there isn't a lot of company's that make decent roller bridges.
If you start a reply with: I have never played one but I have heard good things about it! Your opinion is invalid.
