There is a Gibson Les Paul at my local music shop, thats a 1974 lp custom, with wear and tear, (not a huge problem) and has had a messed up neck, but it has been repaired. I honestly didnt even notice that when i was looking at it. it was offered for 1800$, and the guy said it should be like 2400 but isnt because of the repair done on it. any thoughts?

i just want some opinions on what you think would be a good price or if the year of Lp is worth it ect

What do you mean by 'messed up neck'? Is it visible? Noticeable when playing?

Any guitar that has had serious repairs to it generally drops the value pretty hard. Also what model is the LP? Standard? Custom? Shit is old - I'd buy it at $1500 or less and flip it for $2.2k+ w/o disclosing the neck problems, but thats probably because I'm scummy.
