are there anyway that these are real? they are like an hour away from me and if i can be sure they are, which i am very well doubting but they are the same seller for almost the same price so its possible he has no idea what he has, but just by the pictures and im hoping i can get more info back from my email to him is there anything you guys can tell me? i think it would make my year if these are real and i can score them

Give them a look, if they are so close. But wise up on how to spot fakes ect first. Allways wirth looking.

If you spot a fake and like the way it plays then you might want to but it at a knockdown anyway!

Time on earth is like butterscotch; you really want more, even though it will probably just make you ill.

Even if they're not vintage, those are damn good prices for what their modern-day models are. I'd just scoop them up and research later honestly.

I agree with you but I want to know as much as I cam before I go so I dot get burned and waste more than 500$ on something tht could be fake, I'm going to call him if I don't have an email reply in the next hour or so, get as much info as I can do as much research as I can then go from there, I'm just hoping someone here could help me out so I don't get burned on something I didn't notice

The Telecaster is not vintage, I can tell you that. Though the price is normal for a modern Mexican Telecaster.

The Casino is a little on the cheap side but not incredibly alarming.

There's no way to tell if they're fake or not with those photos. You'd have to see the guitars in person or get better photos to accurately tell. On the telecaster, request photos of the front and back of the headstock, a photo of the neck plate and a photo of the bridge. On the casino, Front and back of the headstock.
Actually, I go by Dave, but there are already too many Daves on this forum.

From those pictures, which aren't particularly helpful the Casino seems to be OK. Tele looks OK as well.

I don't think it's really vintage, he probs just means old. Ask for some high resolution photos of all the important bits, and for the Casino the sticker inside the f-hole especially.

There are rebuild vintage-models of these guitars. May not be a fake, just used guitars which are from a vintage series --> low price.

Yeah I doubt they're vintage but there don't seem to be any obvious signs they're fake from those pictures. I'd check em out in person. If they suck, don't buy em. If they're good guitars and you like them, even if you find out they're fake it'd be a good buy.

so the serial number for the telecaster is Mn4137577 and the MN i assume means its a mexican right? and the casino is R05050320 what does this mean?
EDIT: nevermind its an 05 korean made casino i believe

Telecaster is a Mexican made in '94, so it checks out with the price. I think they're both real.

yea now im not worried about the telecaster because im sure i could spend the money on something better than a 17 year old mexican telecaster, unless it plays godly, im going to definetly try and make the drive to try that casino out, iv been wanting a hollowbody for awhile and p90s, scrumptious
