And it can have quite a large impact mentally and emotionally, such as depression and lack of hope and so on.

So how often do you evaluate your life? Such as;

Are you happy where you are, and where you are going?

Are things how you'd like them?

Not often, but when I do it scares me a little. Being in college and working towards a degree, I feel like it's a little too late to be second-guessing this stuff.

When I do evaluate elements in my life, it's usually regarding drinking/smoking, the toll it has on my health, and challenging my views on politics. This cycle is essentially weekly, keeps me in check.

It depends really, either of you two faced with a big decision/transition in life?

For example i'm finishing uni soon, and have no real idea where i'm going or what to do when i'm finished.

I think we all do it at major turning points in our life, when we see things changing, we have to evaluate ourselves to see whats important. I've only really ever done it thoroughly once, my senior year of high school.

I'm an analytical freak, and I personally believe it keeps me from all my goals. I evaluate my life constantly, but not the positive things about it, which are a lot; I always look for the negative things in my life and usually feel bad after thinking too much.
I have many good things in my life but no appreciation for it inspires me. I look past the positive things, I don't know why.
