Continuing the story from my previous uploads, is my newest song, Coalescing Particles. It's another lengthy one (although shorter than Swarming The Sun) and just finished recording vocals for this, so I am bit tired.

Here are the lyrics, I hope enjoy!

Parallel Infinities 4:
Coalescing Particles
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Elements thrive in a maelstrom of mass
Condensing existence to a single point
Infinitely dense no laws can be applied
Everything is nothing, and nothing is all

A cauldron of fire the heart of a star
A citadel of ice the point of nothingness
A transmigration of galaxies
A universe dead folds upon itself

Inside a structure spanning further than light
The mind becomes something more than man
Equations and answers eluding paths of thought
At the end of this road is there even redemption?

Super symmetrical dimensions compressed
The dreamlike view below the river of time
Matter and mass manipulated at will
Cosmic strings to weave a grand design

From atoms to elements
Particles to mass
A struggle to save
Everything we were
Ancient machines
Infinite in design
Scour the cosmos
For the absent gates

A thunderous roar inside the great halls
Echoes throughout a withering time
Time, space, matter, and mass
Life, and death,
A particle universe is born

One billion years on the throne of a God
Time slowly withering my mind
The universe in the palms of my hands
The awe, am I worthy of this?

From atoms to elements
Particles to mass
A struggle to save
Everything we are
Ancient machines
Infinite in design
Scour the cosmos
For the absent gates

From atoms to elements
Particles to mass
A struggle to liberate
Everything were not
Ancient machines
Backwards through time
Defend all existence
The absent gates

Elements thrive in a maelstrom of mass
Condensing existence to a single point
A transmigration of galaxies
A universe dead folds upon itself

I wouldn't say it's neccessarily prog besides the Obscura inspired lyrics, but extremely impressive nonetheless. Love the shredding, you have some unreal chops. Jazzy parts are a real nice touch even though a little jarring imo. Some of the solo's are unneccesarily fast like the synths and (midi?) bass. Like the use of odd synths here and there. It is pretty long and can leave the listener bored even though it is very engaging. Very epic piece of work though, I can hear some huge Obscura influence, even in vocals. Overall this is superb. Keep it up.

Thanks also on the crit.

Yeah the fretless bass solo is Midi, I wish I had a real fretless to play it on but that aint' happening anytime soon. Had access to a pretty decent VSTi of one so I used it, I always want a fretless bass so that was my little indulgence.

The synth solos are always somewhat of conflicting thing for me, They are essentially just transcribed guitar solos - And I'm always paranoid that shows a little too much, or more than I would like.

EDIT

And thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!
