Which would you move to? And what do you take into consideration when making your choice?

(It might help to also mention which country you currently live in, but the paranoia in me suggests I wouldn't tell you so I don't expect you to tell me)

So, where would you move to?
#3
Wales or Germany.
Damn it! Disable can't use disable to disable Disable's disable because disable's disable has already been disabled by Disable's disable!

China would be nice if I had a nice job lined up and knew the language.
Check out my band Disturbed
#8
Thailand because it's cheap and the locals are real friendly. Plus Thai women are hot as hell.
#9

Anyone care to elaborate as to why?

Yeah, I went there for ten days and it was one of the greatest places ever. Everybody just seemed so happy there. You don't have to struggle to make it. The way the economy is set up, you can make a living by doing things you like to do, not what makes money. It's just a great environment to be in. Plus, the women are f*cking gorgeous.

I live in the US. I'd like to go to Canada.. no real reason to speak of.

Living somewhere in the UK would be cool for a little while. But I can't imagine living there. No offense it is just different from what I'm used to.

To be specific i'd move to California. Few reasons: More jobs in my field in CA, more jobs in my partners field in CA, Awesome weather, partner likes the area etc.

The reason I ask is that my lady and I are contemplating a move to Europe from Australia, just for a change, for like a year or so. But we're spoilt for choice, so I guess the question is, if you were going to moev to Europe, where would you go? Alternatively, if you already live in a European country, which one? And is it a cool place?

1. Go to Sweden for a year
2. Phone family to let them know you're not coming back

As soon as I've finished my degree, I'm planning to move from the UK out to Australia. Better weather, good people, and I can actually get a job there. Mostly the job.

What's so good about Sweden?

I'd go to Switzerland. It's very pictoresque, centrally located in Europe, great public transport, fairly liberal and they're on the right track with a lot of things, like drugs (not that I do any ).

I mean, look at it:

Tough decision. I'm from the Netherlands, and I think I'd go to scandinavia, Asia, or the USA.

USA (California, New York, North Carolina), Australia (Melbourne, Sydney).

I live in France, have lived both in the US (4 months) and Australia (5 months) before.

Canada, England, New Zealand could be other options.

I'd definitely go to Denmark if they'd just cool it with their immigration policies and stuff... Plus the language is unbearably hard even though I speak Swedish. My second choice would be Canada 'cause it still somewhat resembles where I'm from and the people seem very cool.

I'm from Finland, not intending to move anytime soon but who knows...

I live in England, but I'd want to move to America, L.A specifically. It'd be great to study at the Musician's Institute.

Though it seems the Japanese love guitarists...I may go down well there.

vietnam, germany, norway
I speak these languages, so it wouldnt be a hassle to learn.

in vietnam i would have a hut on the beach and a small fishing boat, I would just chill there catching fish, also party. lots and lots of partying.

in norway I would be cold all the damn time and I would soon hate it there, because its not dirty enough for me.

if germany I would live in kreuzburg and harrass turks...

bist Du in Kreuzberg
Wenn der Punker vor Dir in der Kotze liegt
bist Du in Kreuzberg
gegenüber im Dönerladen, tummeln sich die Schaben und Maden
Und Du bist herzlich eingeladen in Kreuzberg

edit: im from america.
