I already know im going to gruns and grimeys but what other places are notorious in the area or have some cool history im going as a 16th birthday present so i want to have a great time im not a huge country fan but i can kind of get into more folk -ish acts ex: the civil wars, ray lamotagne but i mostly listen to rock like kings of leon, anything jack white does and the black keys

go to the Heritage Guitars factory and take a tour, it used to be the Gibson factory

Flying Saucer. It has nothing to do with guitars (they do have live bands once in a while), but they have 100+ beers and a great vibe.

Really though, Gruhn and the old Gibson factory are the only places worth seeing. Other places will be no different from your local shop.
