So I have been recording my guitar onto a jamman, then importing the audio onto audacity, once its on there the wave form appears and plays fine but once I unplug the jamman from the usb the waveform is still on audacity but there is no sound when I play it, I then plug the Jamman back in while its still playing and the sound returns, any ideas on what im doing wrong?

Are you importing from the jamman's internal memory? If you do that directly then once you unplug the jamman audacity can't access the file source, try copying the files to your computer first.

Hi. Can someone tell me which guitars are real 24 fret guitars and which are just 22 fret guitars with 2 extra frets added on?

Yeah ill give that ago, but it does seem retarded if this is the way you have to do it, I thought once you transfer the part off the jamman onto audacity and then save the file that is like saving the audio file onto your computer

Tbh it's generally better to record directly into audacity so i don't know how importing works. I've always just recorded into audacity which has left me with and audacity project i can export to mp3 or whatever.
