Hey guys, a while back I made a Rhoads V from a Guitar Fetish kit, and I've noticed recently it sounds very bassy, much more than any of my other guitars on the same amp settings. (all in Drop C tuning during comparison if it matters)

Could the wiring job be the culprit? Or could it be the lower quality pots and whatnot? The pickups involved are a GFS Crunchy Rails in the bridge, and a Mighty Mite Motherbucker in the neck. Body is poplar.

is the capacitor soldered to the correct lug on the tone pot? It SHOULD NOT be contacting the hot wire

Also, make sure the pots are 500k, not 250k or lower
