I'd like to see what books/DVDs people would recommend for learning how to play jazz... I've played Blues/rock for years now and I just recently got into jazz.... Stuff like Will Bernard and John Scofield... and a bit of Joe Pass...
I like to use books so I can sit with them on my couch...
Please give me some recommendations!
Thanks!

"Exploring Jazz Guitar" by Phil Capone is really good, just make sure you listen to jazz all the time as well. If you don't listen to tonnes of it you'll never get it at all.
R.I.P. My Signature. Lost to us in the great Signature Massacre of 2014.
