I know how to play barre chords, but I am having trouble with one. It is an Asus2 shaped barre on the first fret. I can't ring the note on the B string. My barre finger starts on the A string. Any advice; does anyone have a similar problem?

if you are still having trouble, try rotating your index finger, or using more or less of it to barre so the groove of your knuckle doesn't end up directly over it.....

Some pieces are only meant to be played by people with six fingers on their fretting hand. Sorry.

You can also lay down your middle finger on top of your index finger for extra strength to hold down the bar since that chord only needs 2 other fingers.
