Hey everyone,

I know this has probably been asked a million times before, but I can't find any answers specific enough for my situation. I've heard that playing a bass through a guitar amp is sometimes harmful depending on the situation, but I'd like to know if there's any implications of playing an electric guitar and bass, both with active pickups, through a Fender Princeton Chorus at the same time. Thanks guys!

The speaker is the problem. Bass guitars are murder on guitar speakers.

Try a bass cab. You'll probably lose the high end of the guitar but the alternative of possibly ripping the backside out of your guitar speakers is a bit worse.

Also multiple instruments through a guitar amp will probably/definitely sound like absolute ass.

Oh it definitely isn't the best sound haha, but my roommate (the bass player) is without an amp for a little while, so I was just wondering if I should keep letting him play through my amp, or tell him to suck it up.
