Hey all,

I just grabbed a Epiphone SG Special Cherry Red on craigslist for $70

I got new strings on it and lowered the bridge to get the desired action height, but I have a problem now.

I think the lowers strings are raised higher than my high E, B, and G strings....

It's really annoying because my bends make my bending fingers go underneath the lower strings when I bend up from the G string...

How can I adjust individual string height rather than lowering the whole thing?

Thanks!!

I have the Tony Iommi Epi SG, and you should be able to raise from both sides. Just raise the side that is laying to low, but do it slightly.

You can't adjust the string height individually without filing the saddles. It's one of the limitations of a tune-o-matic
