So I've just managed to pick up a JVM combo for a LOT lower than I was looking to spend originally, and I figure even with an attenuator, I'll still be miles below my original budget anyway, so, any recommendations? I've been looking at THD's but I've seen some "home-made" ones on eBay too, just looking for some alternatives.
Funny words.

Shouldn't need an attenuator for that amp.

No it's cool, I haven't physically got it yet anyway so I was going to play around with the volume before I was seriously looking anyway.

Yeah,

like I mean, the one I played, which was the 212, sounded pretty good at lower levels, I play predominately metal so I dont like power amp saturation, but thats just me,

for nice rock tones, it still copes fairly well, its not like an old school JTM or anything

Nice amp though.
