Is this that band with members of FellSilent tha plays "djent"?

Probably generic, probably won't ever listen.
My name is Danny. Call me that.

Things better than this band:
His Hero Is Gone
Actual monuments
Reading memoirs of famous people
Reading memoirs of not famous people
watching people write their memoirs
Uncollecting things
Basically everything that isn't this band.

I thought the whole idea of post-hardcore was to mix techno and hardcore.....

I actually thought that was kind of cool. I never bothered checking out Monuments because I thought they were just part of the whole djent fad, and while they might be, I like them better than most of the other bands trying this thing out. Their vocalists approach rip off sikth pretty much, but I still enjoy it.

Well I just thought I'd give these guys a bit of advertising since their debut, Gnosis, is almost out. Yeah they got a new singer who isn't all that special, and the mix sounds compressed as ****, but I find it physically impossible to listen to any of their songs without tapping my foot or something.

So they've released two songs so far:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeBR7fZs2HM&feature=relmfu and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuRUILnOTc0

Love what the new geezer did to Doxa for vocals though. Slightly disappointed this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_e5S_vl-gI didn't make it on to the debut but I'm still buzzing
