hey, this is probably a common question but...
I have a JCM900 combo2x12 and I wanna run it with my Marshall 1960a cab. the amp puts out 4 and 8 ohm. im guessing the 2x12 inside are 8ohm in series? what should I run my cab at? it does 4 ohm 16ohm, and 8ohm if i switch it to stereo...

thanks for any responses.

I suppose I'd run the amp at 4 and the cab at 4 as well. That seems to be the common ground.

It's not sexist, girls are just too stupid and weak to hold up doors and stuff for themselves.

Just match your impedances, it's not rocket science. Your combo can do 4 ohms output impedance and your cab can do 4 ohms mono input impedance, use that. Srsly.
