the nut on my schecter for the b and low e string hold the string a bit low causing some open note buzz, whats a household fix for this

i can recall something with toothpicks an glue like for strapholes but im not too sure

i dont know how this happened to the b but i used 7 string sets - the d for drop tuning so thats probably how it happened to the low e

You'll probably have to buy a new nut. You can stick a small piece of paper under the string for a short term fix. Just something to raise it up in very small increments. But ultimately you'll want to buy a new nut.
