Excellent work. The only thing I'd say is that the Chorus feels like a 2nd verse as much as the Chorus, probably because you're going all out vocally in the verses. I'd try a take where you dampen the emotion in the verses so when it hits the chorus it really hits, if that makes sense. Otherwise this is very close to something that could be professionally released. Did you produce it just on your computer?

Recording quality is impressive as hell. Sounds a lot like Boys Like Girls. Definitely something I could see my little sister listening to (I don't mean this in a negative way at all). This is seriously impressive.
Just curious are the drums sampled? and any other tips for gettign such good quality?
Chorus is catchy as hell too.

Nope the drums aren't sampled I played them fully miced hahah. Um tips are just try to give everything a shine lols. also don't be affraid to use reverb and delay. the vocals have like 2 kinds of verb and a delay also just being sent over. and also don't worry bout vocal counts, in the chorus there's 18 vocal tracks running all different takes not duplicated. Reason being that the little nuances that occur through each take, even if they are both perfectly timed and on pitch, seem to make the sonic space fuller and less empty.

if you have any more questions just ask away!

o yea and i just used cheap mics for this song too lols just to show you that you don't need super highend stuff to produce decent sounding music!

thanks!

That was very good! Although I usually listen to metal I have a tiny soft spot for pop rock, which this song satisfied very well.

The overall recording quality is pretty damn good. Not much I can say really, other than keep up the good work!
