What is the best British newspaper, that is clear and concise, that doesn't talk rubbish like focusing on celebrity figures? With all the democracy going on, I realised it would be good to know what the **** is going on in this country, and to a greater extent, the world, so actually reading newspapers would probably be a good start..

Just watch bbc breakfast in the mornings. They tend to get the majority of the days news into 15 minutes, which is handy for me. I watch between 6:15 and 6:30am and that's enough.

That and the Pit constitutes my main news uptake, sadly.
The UG Awards exist only to instill me with existential doubt.

For me, the 60's ended that day in 1978...

I quite like the Guardian, but they're as biased as the rest of them.

As long as you don't go for the tabloids/the daily mail you'll probably be okay, but getting everything from one source is still a bad idea.

Newspapers are largely redundent; they're always a whole day behind the internet/television news. So none of them

The Financial Times. It's unbiased, and features no bollocks whatsoever.

Evening standard mother****ers.
No ego-inflating quotes nor stupidly long signatures to be found here.

Move along.

My parents buy the Guardian and I read the Sport section, but for important/world events I just go on the BBC News site.

If I want to destroy my brain and lower my own IQ then I occasionally read the Daily Mail.

Just watch the BBC news or go on their site. Newspapers are biased as hell, left and right.
