Hey there.

Finally bit the bullet and bought a brand new vintage v100, but upon arrival i have found that the string height is a bit of a problem.

I've dropped the bridge down as low as it will go and the strings are still about 15 miles from the fretboard.

Any ideas how i can get the strings lower?
Being a brand new guitar i cant imagine it would be that screwed.

I measured the string height and its 5mm from the fretboard at the 12th fret.
try filing down the nut slightly

The bridge with the saddles in is what i dropped down, you cant lower individual saddles like you can a fender.
