Awesome cover, but your tone is....Well, I, personally, don't like it.

great cover bud! i think what "Maglun" was saying about the tone .... may not have been the tone itself, but maybe the way it was played. don't get me wrong, i loved the cover, but keep working on it, to allow for the riffs to sound a little less "robotic"/stiff ... and more flow-y ... you know? but great job man!

ooooh!
very nice cover.
i personally liked the distortion tone and mixing you had, but i reckon you could work more on your clean tone
don't get me wrong- you played it fine, just sounds a bit too percussive- maybe play with the eq to get a less "clicky" sound, or even work on some finger/hybrid picking techniques for that section to get a warmer tone

still, i love the solo and rhythm section and everything- you are very talented, and this song is one of my favourites.

would you mind checking out my dream theater cover?

i really should work on the clean part.
it took me 500000 times to get it right, and even when i did there was alot of mistakes
