So basically the situation is this. . .

I wanna get an electric drum kit, but living with my mum means I cant just go out and buy one. She says that the neighbours will complain about the noise etc. but surely and electric kit is no where near as loud as a normal one?

And one of the reviews I've read about this kit is that it can be used at night without disturbing people.

yea they really arent loud, you can play pretty much as hard as you want and it won't be any louder than maybe an acoustic guitar.

As said above, it's not loud. I play my electric mainly at night since it doesn't keep people up. The only loud part about it is if you're playing it on an upper level and someone can hear you stomping on the kick the floor under you.
