This is just a lil instrumental. This is the first song ive ever recorded my own drums with. The song was just an idea i had, then i kept adding more and more and it kinda turned it to this. Wasnt quite sure where it was going to end up. But im happy with it. Let me know what you think, especially about the drums. C4C ofcourse.

Clean guitar goin in.. This is nice! Not the usual stuff here on UG very calm and a very unvirtuosic guitar tone. This is fun and very homey . Makes us all comfy to be hanging on your carpet and sharing stories with new friends. The guitar solo sound is loads of fun! Be proud

Don't tell me what can not be done

Don't tell me what can be done, either.

I love you all no matter what.

Critiquing as I listen;
Levels are very low, even when then drums come in. Might wanna crank the master a bit. The filters on the guitar give it a pretty cool synth feel, very different. Mix still needs to be thickened up a lot.

Drums are pretty good, how'd you record them?

And finally the ending's a bit sudden, you could probably drag the louder section out longer and jam with it for a bit.
Overall a good start to a song, it could go a long way as an ambient instrumental if you toy with it some more, nice!

Thanks. Yeah i need to bring the levels up. Im limited with mic inputs on my recording device, i can only do 4 mics. So i got 3 kinda cheap audio technica mics on the snare, bass drum, and hi-hat. Then i got a pretty good condenser overhead mic that catches the cymbals, and everything else pretty much.
Yeah i think ima rerecord it again so i can drag the jamming at the end out. And also this time play with a metronome so i can stay in time, i had quite a time trying to do the drums with everything being out of time, especially when the drums come in at the beginning.
Thanks for the helpful crit
