G(g)od was like: "Make you an ark of gopher wood; rooms shall you make in the ark, and shall pitch it within and without with pitch."

And i was like: "What's gopher wood?"

Your spelling and grammar make me want to hit things. I know it's just the internet....but Jesus, man.

On topic: Why would the color matter? You are essentially just asking whether Gibsons are better than Epiphones. There have been hundreds of threads posted on the subject, and I recommend you use the searchbar.

i think he's probably talking about the worn cherry les paul studios.

essentially these are worth the extra money over the epiphone, so long as you can find one that you like enough to pay that much for it. in terms of quality they are just all-round better guitars, but you might not necessarily think they are worth it over an epiphone - that's up to you, because these things are subjective. ultimately it's your money, and your decision.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

The Faded Les Paul Studios are well worth the money. Now that even the cherry and brown have a maple top they are an even better deal. Go out and test guitars until you find the "one".
