The timing is really awkward for the box 1 lick near the beginning on frets 8 and 10? Any advice???? It's ****ing me over

^^ I knew someone was going to say it!

Slow the songs tempo right down, concentrate on keeping in time.
Practice.
Raise Tempo.
Practice.
Raise Tempo.
????
Profit.

If you're talking about the 8->10 bends in the 2nd and 3rd measure, play them out of the same 5th fret position you played the first measure. Don't slide up until you get to the 4th measure, and then you hop back down to the 5th fret a couple of beats later.

If that's not the part you're talking about, you'll have to be more specific.

If you cant already, learn to read sheet music and use that instead. Iv recently done so and learning stuff like this is so much quicker and easier. I use tab and sheet music side by side. A teacher of mine also like to say 'If you cant sing it, you cant pla it', so try sing the bit your struggling with.

I also agree with the rest of the advice in this thread.
