Loved it! You did incredibly well to come up with that in only a week and for it to sound so good throughout. Your voice is tops, definitely fits the song well and the lyrics were great. The faster, almost rap bit in the middle reminded me of Rosetta Stoned by Tool a bit. Only real criticisms would be with the mix and even then not much, the vocals didn't quite sound particularly thick especially in the chorus, instruments sounded fine though. Great work man

Thanks Will keep that in mind, the mix is definitely the hardest part for me, especially cause i don't have proper studio training. Still I'm pretty happy with how it's going. C4C is done also

The song idea is good.
Like the intro alot, maybe you should think of extending the clean intro a bit longer. I think out of the whole song you're voice suited that part more than any other. Tho towards the end (3:12) onwards I did enjoy it.
Dont like the drums one bit tho. They bring the song down. Maybe look into Addictive Drums or EZdrummer for a solid drum sound.

Over-all, good attempt with the mixing/producing. Just keep practicing and read up on recording forums for advice and tips.

In an afterthought, this reminds me of german multi-platinum selling, critically acclaimed singer Lafee. So maybe its not all bad.

Really enjoy the subtle back up vocals that sometimes pop up. It doesn't bother us , but maybe you'd like to improve your vocals, they get pitchy on the sustained notes. There is great attention to detail in this song and it doesn't try to hard to be heavy as ****. OH cool harmony vocals with effects you just hit us with. You do a good job of keeping a bland chord progression interesting with how you dress it up.

hit with the luv

OMG TOTALLY LOVE THE SYNTH SOUNDING MELODY NEAR THE END

totes loved the alternative metal vibe of the song, the only things i have against it are the mixing and tone (the rhythm instruments could've been a bit louder, and the guitar and drums would fit the song better if they had a bit of a more "metal" sound to them)

LOVED IT THOUGH. keep it up

Again more solid work from ya good self.
I think this project of your is a feckin good idea how many albums worth will you have after this? And it raises the question why do signed artist take upto a year to make an album.
Guitars sounded fine with out the big assed amp. And the vid showing your recording off was good too. I'd rip a leg off for that gear.

Hey thanks everybody for the crit!

Sorry about the late reply, I had 5000 words of assignments due yesterday...

OK so I've C4C'd everybody now except for Boratian because it was a mediafire file to dl, just want to be safe. Do you have the song up on any social networking site or youtube so I can listen to it there? I suspect that this is why you haven't gotten any feedback yet too.

Hope this helps and thanks again guys!
