Everything's so convoluted,
backwards, and our thoughts polluted.
Always trying to follow
the way we're told to live life

Well consider this one thought for you
to step out of another's shoes and be
free.

Don't envy the lives that they're living
Take all of the chances that you're given
You only have one try, you know
So take what's left, pack your pride, and go

There's always worry, always doubt
that the charm in life will soon run out
many things may happen that will
cause us to lose our faith

Well consider another thought for you
to do only what you want to do and be
free

Don't envy the lives that they're living
Take all of the chances that you're given
You only have one try, you know
So take what's left, pack your pride, and go

I need some help on how to end it (last verse). You can all probably tell from the lyrics what the song is about. Tell me what you think and, if possible, spare some ideas! Thanks!

wonder about the secrets gone untold.

When you look into the eyes of a young child,
marvel at the innocence running wild."

I really like what you have so far. The lyrics really have an inspirational feel to them. Here's my whack at the end:

Cast aside all the petty thoughts,
breathe with your mind and heart.
For once in history, use what you've been given.

(Maybe repeat that a few times)

I like it! I'll definitely try to form something around that. Thank you very much!
