i have this
usb cable

and a series 10 professional electric guitar

I am attempting to plug the guitar into my laptop, but the guitar is not like, a usb guitar. my guess is that i didn't do enough research before buying the cable and have wasted money.

So is it still possible, or am i stuck with my acoustic guitar w/headphone speakers duct taped to it.

Please answer I appreciate it

[no]Firstly - what's a series 10 professional guitar?[/no]
edit: nevermind...

Secondly the link seems broken...

edit - try a stealth plug.
It's an opinion. It's subjective. And I'm right, anyway.

careful man ebay links aren't allowed spam or not. I don't think that will work if it's what you describe there's no way to convert your guitar's line signal to a digital signal without an interface. Sorry man you got ripped off

EDIT: Yeah man that's a complete rip there's no way that would work without a A/D signal converter (interface)

yea thats what i saw i just said "eh screw it that must be it" when i googled it lol

i was sort of hoping that USB thing would work lol. if you're trying to run it through your laptop i suggest a USB interface, the one that this guy posted works fine.

That is a weird cable. Unless it has an A/D converter built in it's completely pointless.

You should contact the seller because it *should* work with your guitar or you should protest the payment saying that the description is incorrect. Just connecting your guitar to a USB port is not a legitimate claim unless it has an audio converter and a USB sound driver.

My guess is that it's a legit audio capture cable and you just need the info on getting it to work.
