Pleased to see MCR on that, I quite enjoyed Danger Days.

But I loathe every other band on that list with the possible exception of 30stm.
Kerrang seems to be enthusiastically fellating everything metalcore as of late.

This about sums up my feelings about Kerrang.

It's basically "smash hits" for people with guitars...

A really boring and bland list. All this is is a popularity contest, with some terrible bands thrown in to make up the numbers. Not sure if anybody really gives a damn about them anyway. Also, the day Bullet for my Valentine aren't up there for something will be the day that Hell freezes over.

Those are the options you should vote for.

And anyay Kerrang is aimed to be sold at 12 year ol girls, it's clearly not going to have BTBAM or anything.

It's upsetting that The Wonder Years or Architects haven't been included though.

I did a piece years ago on how Kerrang basically lost its following when it jumped aboard the Emo band wagon and now its pretty much the worst music publication there is. Its not got enough credibility to get the old readers back and nobody would care if they went back to how it used to be.

I refuse to buy it now.

Some of those bands are very good, in my eyes at least, but the nominations still suck. Kerrang tries to be too much to too many people these days, the nominations sum that up quite well in all honesty. They basically decided to include such a wide range of bands, in terms of musical styles, in order to cause the least amount of outrage from members of their target readership. Hence why bands such as Parkway Drive, who are vastly superior live to the likes of All Time Low and BFMV, and Alter Bridge get ignored simply because they don't have enough of a following within the Kerrang readership.

Wat. I'd say the complete opposite.

Those lists do not feature a wide range of bands.

Based on the one Hyro Da Hero song I've heard (Ghetto Ambience), he seems to be the only one on the list that isn't utter shite. He kinda reminds me of an angrier Zach De La Rocha.

I already had a hard time believing Kerrang in their judgement, but this settles it.
Oh, you wouldn't want an angel watching over
Surprise, surprise, they wouldn't wanna watch
