Not sure if this is the right place to post this but is mixcraft a good recording software i am sick of my studio one artist and i wanna look around to see other softwares before buying studio one pro

I used Mixcraft for quite some time. I became quite proficient at it. It has really easy MIDI editing which helped as I didn't have a MIDI keyboard. The audio editing is fairly limiting though and it took a great deal of time for me to get results I was happy with.

It was also quite unstable. It crashed a lot on start up and when I was using it. I also lost a project I was working on multiple times as the file corrupted.

In short. Don't bother, I only kept going with it as I had paid for it and it was the only DAW I'd ever worked with.
