I mostly play stoner and post rock and I currently own a Hagstrom Super Swede with stock pu's.
The other day, I was offered a double trade:
a.with a Fender Baja Telecaster with Dimartzio Twang King pu's and
b.with a partcaster strat (2 pieces alder,rosewood fretboard,originally costing around 850&euro with Haussel Big Mag pu's.

What do you suggest me to do?
Keep the Hagstrom?
If I decide to swap it,which of the two above is the best choise, the baja tele or the partcaster strat?

Thnks everyone, in advance..

IMO for stoner the Hagstrom seems pretty much perfect. It's a vintage esque all mahogany guitar with moderate output humbuckers. Pretty much all are benchmarks of the classic stoner tone.

I don't think a strat or a tele will get you nearer to a tone you're looking for. What are you finding lacking about your setup as it is?

Also, if you do decide to trade, the partscaster if you intend to never get rid of it. If you think you might flip it get the Tele. Partcaster's have incredibly low resale value regardless of the value of the parts

Regarding my effects pedals,I'm pretty much covered
(Morley POW->Danelectro FabTone->EHX little Big muff->ep1 Pigtronix phaser->Behringer ut100 tremolo->Digidelay).

Regarding Super Swede, the access after the 14th fret is kinda difficult, because of the construction of the guitar.Other than that, the Hagstrom covers my needs, but I (think) I want the tele looks.
The only thing that's for sure is that I'm confused...

in the Tele Vs Strat debate I'd go with the Baja Tele. A friend has one that I've mucked around on a fair amount and it is an incredibly versatile instrument. Other than the heaviest of high gain metal it can do just about anything. Partscasters on the other hand are a little more specialized in their tone and though I have no experience with the one in particular and can't say for sure if it is or isnt the tone you're looking for, I can say it it's probably not as versatile as the Baja.

All of that aside, what Dopey_Trout says is the truth. Your current axe is much better suited for the warmer, mids-ier tones you're looking for. If it's not living up to expectations change your amp or the pickups because switching tonewoods, construction and pickups to the opposite end of the spectrum is not going to help.

Today, I've turned down the partcaster,so the dilemma comes down to whether I should trade my Hagstrom Super Swede with the Fender Baja Telecaster(with Dimarzio Twang King pu's) or not.
I still can't decide, because Hagstrom is a beautiful guitar, with binding, splitting humbuckers etc but Tele is my dream guitar, since I started playing....

Tell you what. If you can, go play the Tele and choose whichever feels right.
