you're staring
at me in amusement
unsure whether to be
glad or afraid

this uncertainty
fills the air around us
it's discomforting
pushing for a reaction

I'm leaving, i don't expect a goodbye
leaving you with room to breathe
don't expect any forgotten compassion
I'll disappoint you like always

The moving sensation
of a strangers obsession
doesn't it just make you feel
oh so ****ing special

you can bear this guilt
if you can handle it
with your other issues
slowing you right down

I'm leaving, but i won't say goodbye
you can have this broken home
maybe this stranger can handle your lies
i just can't listen anymore

I used to be able to shout
your name from the rooftops
but now i'm ashamed
to ever hear it mentioned

now you're talking to god
pleading for guidance
while you struggle to grasp
whats left of your morality

though it was just one night (one mistake)
there's still consequences
still forgotten names and silent stories

now i take one last look before i close my eyes
and forget about absolutely everything
that reminds me of you

Because I'm leaving, i don't expect a goodbye
leaving you with room to breathe
don't expect any forgotten compassion
I'll disappoint you like always

I'll disappoint you
like you let me
just a disappointment
and i always will be

Not bad! I like them because i'm relating to them a lot. I love the lines: don't expect any forgotten compassion/ i'll disappoint you like always.. those relate with me perfectly. There's one spot i think could be lots better if you changed it. In the line "maybe a stranger can handle your lies" I would change the a to this so it more obviously relates to the paragraph about 'a strangers obsession' (if thats what your intention was of course).
