i hope this is the right place to post this. i recently bought an Intellitouch PT10 clip-on tuner, cause the guy recommended it to me at guitar center. the tuner is pretty good, but like an idiot i accidentally threw away the instructions before reading them, and now i don't know what this calibration thing does. it starts at 430 and when i hit the button it goes all the way up to 450. i searched around and can't really find out what it does. anyone have any ideas? thanks in advance!
Not sure if this is the right place, but that is the reference note to which you tune. Usually you put it on 440, although 441 is being used more often as well. 440 is the standard though.

Good luck tuning!

The actual correct answer
The only reason you might have to change it from that setting is if you were tuning to play with someone with an instrument set to one of the other standards.
