Hi all,

I know that this video has been played thousands of times everywhere but this my first cover solo video, so i figured I'd start with something easy.

Well, I accidentally zoomed too much with the camera

Its not perfect but I hope you'll like it.
Feel free to comment and criticize.

nice playing! The last big bend needs vibrato, so i suggest working on that.

Do you refer to the one at 0:23~0:24 ?

Yeah, I agree with toine. Also, the guitar tone wasn't too great. However, that could have easily been a product of the method/equipment that you used to record the video, so it may not be a problem with your playing.

Hey, that was a great cover. Only thing every one else was saying about the vibrato, but minus that, that was cool.

Hey, 10x a lot for the compliments.

I tried listening again to the solo a couple of times, but couldn't hear the vibrato

^well there's your problem ^^
you do play a bit of vibrato on the other notes, but that last bend is just so empty.
It needs vibrato, this isn't that simple to do on a bend.

Hi, great cover. With some vibratos added, it will sound very good I think. You have the timing, just work your vibrato !

Also, is it a left-handed Kirk's signature ? Didn't know they did it lefty.

Check my Megadeth cover ? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1446807

10x man, I'll keep that in mind.

What a coincidence, just checked your cover and channel the other day

And yes , that is a left-handed Kirk's signature. Lefty is a bitch

Hey man, that was great playing! Also nice inlays I do agree with some of the above posters that the tone wasn't that great though.

C4C anyone? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1450196

About the sound, I know. I thought on re-recording it with my MXR Fullbore Metal pedal, but I'll keep that for my next upcoming cover.

I really like the tone. If you happen to use a pod, I'd much appreciate the tone file

It sounds a bit off in some places, but it's good overall.

Would you check my cover of this song? I just uploaded and it's not getting many views.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWs5dA-_G5c Thank you!

Well this has already been said...but vibrato, you need more of it...on the big bend and the bit after that too...it sounded a little dead, if you know what i mean
Other than that really nice job!
