so like the title says, do you have to break in new tubes like new speakers?

i ask this because i recently sent my 6534+ out to get fixed because of problems, turns ou V4 and V5 preamp tubes were blown and V2 had a bent prong. so they replaced the tubes, and now the amp feels alot brighter than it was before almost too bright any help?

Some tubes sound brighter than others. Tubes can be burnt in before you get them but that I think is only to help prevent failure. I think it may just be the tubes that they used in your amplifier. You can either roll down the highs and live with it or get new tubes.
