So, I still have that Fender Musicmaster, and it still needs a neck. Surprise! Well, one of my brother's friends suggested I get a Telecaster neck for it. I like the idea, but my main concern is that since the MM originally had the TR by the body, that a newer Tele neck might not work, since it will have a truss rod at the headstock. My question is, will the Tele neck work with my MM?

Pardon any spelling errors, I'm using the On-screen Keyboard.

if it'll fit in the neck pocket, the positioning of the truss rod doesn't matter

Where the truss rod adjusts doesnt matter.

I would be more concerned about the nut and frets being in the same spot as on the old neck.

The Musicmaster has a 22.5" scale doesn't it?

There were two that came out, the 22.5" and the 24" models. I have the 24" one, but it needs a neck.

So basically, I can't get the Telecaster one.
