This was a brand new replacement pedal that I got for sending in the previous one I had, which came in the mail with a broken slider knob.

When I turn it on I get a hiss noise in the background. I tried swapping cables but that didn't help. Took out the AC and tried a battery, still.

Has anyone else had problems with this pedal? It's my favorite sounding delay, so I don't want to get rid of it. I just don't want to deal with this

the Reel Echo is a fairly silent pedal as far as hiss goes. I never had problems with mine. I got rid of it purely because the modulation was atrocious. I would send it in again for another one, third times the charm. If that doesn't work, save for an El Capistan, trust me you'll never look back
