I just picked up a Cort C4 bass and I'm not sure what all the controls do. Specifically the push-pull knob. Its an active bass so I'm assuming its to control whether the active pickups are on/off. Just wanna make sure so i can save my batteries till i use it for a gig.

it could also be a coil tap. I dunno much about the bass but you should be able to find a manual flaoting around online.

The push pull is most likely a active/passive switch.

In the end, the only question is: what bass would Jesus play?

I think he's a Fender Jazz guy.

It does become softer and less punch if i pull the knob out so i think it is too. Also if i leave it on passive does that mean that it doesn't use up battery?
