Axl Rose because I wasn't too happy with him showing up over an hour late whilst I was squashed in the crowd and feeling very drunk and agitated.
MCR will be getting bottled this year, joining in that just cos. I actually quite like MCR.

Wow metalheads are so ****ing pathetic

Edit:

To not be struck be the ultimate wrath of the metalfans let me rephrase that and call Phil Anselmo pathetic.

Seems like an awful lot of effort towards a band I ultimately do not care about.

Yeup. Also I don't usually buy consumables at gigs anyway- shit's expensive.

During a Smiths concert in 1987, singer Morrissey was bottled and pleaded to the crowd: "At this moment we would like to ask all the journalists in the audience to please stop throwing things!"

Smiths = the most metal band of all time.

Well, I meant what the guy on stage did. "get on your ****ing knees". How does this guy live with himself, can you become more a parody of yourself?

In his defense, it WAS a couple beer bottles. It's not like it wasn't something that couldn't hurt anyone on impact.

Phil Anselmo's pretty much a moron. He's not the equivalent of every other metal fan/artist though.

No I haven't, and I never will because it's horribly disrespectful. If I don't like a support band there's always the bar or merch stand or just standing there looking bored to keep me occupied. Bottling a band at a festival is just retarded given that there are usually at least 3 stages on.

Now if the crowd start throwing bottles at each other then I'm up for that, I remember a particularly epic bottle fight at Iron Maiden's Twickenham gig, for some reason I got hit with a hollowed out loaf of bread with ham in it

I wasn't talking about that he actually got pissed. But the macho man style of wanting him to get on his knees. Isn't that just laughable? I'm sorry I sound condescending but the whole brutal culture of metal is just something I find awkward.

It was more to humiliate the kid in front of the crowd, I think, if anything, besides intimidating him and making sure no one else does it.

Oh, just remembered another video that's pretty funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gInmR9JoGS0

It's not bottling, but close enough.

No, if I don't like a band then I wont watch them, what's the point in trying to injure them when they are doing what they love.

Was about to say this. Especially the second part. Sure I might dislike it, but the band is enjoying themselves and if I'm stupid or narrowminded enough to let the fact that they are expressing what they enjoy to insult me and make me get physical by throwing stuff I'm the one at fault here. not those on stage.

No, not only is it disrespectful, it's dangerous too.

If you don't like a band's music or don't dig how they're playing then either don't get tickets to go and see them or, if they're just a support band, go to the bar or for a smoke or something. Anyone caught bottling should be banned from the venue indefinately in my opinion.

Only once. When I saw the Wildhearts at a festival, and they were inciting it. Someone threw a shoe at them, and they made a running joke for the rest of the set that we should try to hit them, while they tried to dodge things. ("It's the last day, hell, throw your wives if ya like") I do like them though. Ginger's pretty funny. He shat himself when a plane flew over, saying he thought someone threw it at him

No, but I intend to attack Jessie J with a beer-filled Supersoaker.

that video in OP is horrible. just horrible. my chemical romance are good musicians, and generally good people. they're better than most metal bands. how the fuck they became a common enemy in that shitty festival is beyond me.

I have to admit, even though I'm not a huge Primus fan or anything, that was kick ass haha. "Please sodomize them for me."

I've actually never heard Les talk before (Besides singing). He sort of reminds me of David Cross (In humor and tone of voice).

No.. Why would you go to a concert of someone you don't like or listen to?

I've only been to shows of bands I like.. So I would never throw something at them. That's got to be the most disrespectful thing you can do. They are there to entertain you, and YOU chose to pay for that concert.. Why ruin it.

It's like that video of Nickleback walking away because the crowd was a bunch of f**kheads. Why go in the first place?

I would never bottle/glass anyone, I've seen what that stuff does to people, it's worse than crack and I feel pity - something I don't like to feel - for anyone who thinks it's ok to do that to anyone but themselves.
